March 25, 2019 - Walker Calderwood is a Certified Energy Manager and a mechanical engineer who joined Cx Associates in 2014. With a MS Manufacturing and Mechanical Systems Integration and BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology, Walker has the education and experience (performing measurement and verification (M&V), building commissioning, retro-commissioning, and energy analysis) to deliver success to our client projects. The Vermont Green Building Gala features the Vermont’s Greenest Building Awards Celebration and takes place at Main Street Landing in Burlington, VT on Thursday, March 29. This event recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievements in the development of leading-edge commercial and residential buildings. From the beginning, the Vermont’s Greenest Building Awards recognized proven energy performance in buildings by giving awards for consumption lower than 50% of regional averages.

January 30, 2018 — The professional engineers at Cx Associates will present three workshops at the 2018 Better Buildings by Design conference in Burlington, Vermont on February 8. Cx Associates has been building energy resiliency throughout the Northeast with its commissioning, measurement, verification, and energy efficiency consulting services.

Senior engineer Ben Fowler earned his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Vermont. Ben's area of expertise is mechanical engineering, HVAC and Refrigeration. The P.E. is for engineers who have gained a minimum of four years’ post-college work experience in their chosen engineering discipline and passed the examination. The Board of Professional Engineering oversees this profession in the state of Vermont.
