Cx Associates is pleased to announce the return of Wil Yandell to our team as a Senior Engineer. Wil brings seven years of commissioning expertise and a wealth of field experience across a diverse range of facility types, including commercial, healthcare, and higher education projects.
WY_Preferred Headshot SQUARE SMALLWil first joined Cx Associates in 2019, where he provided design and construction phase commissioning services and conducted technical reviews of energy efficiency projects for Consolidated Edison's C&I, Clean Heat, and Demand Management programs. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in commissioning practice across New England and the broader Eastern Seaboard. After 2023, Wil took his skills to New York City, where he deepened his expertise leading functional and integrated systems testing, critical infrastructure verification, field performance testing, and multidisciplinary team coordination on large-scale institutional projects including data centers, hospitals, laboratories, and academic facilities.

Back at Cx Associates as of 2026, Wil will focus primarily on MEP, fire alarm, and fire protection commissioning, while also lending his expertise to retro-commissioning and measurement and verification work as needed. His expanded field experience with complex, critical-infrastructure projects makes him exceptionally well-positioned to take on challenging commissioning work and deliver results for our clients.

His combination of deep technical knowledge, broad regional project experience, and hands-on approach to problem solving makes him a tremendous asset to our team, and we are thrilled to welcome him back to Cx Associates.
