Cx Associates, a leading energy engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Alan Therrien to their team as an engineer supporting building envelope services based in their Burlington, VT office.
Alan brings more than 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer/Project Manager on a variety of construction projects, ranging from highway bridges to high-rise multi-family apartments. He has extensive experience in reviewing submittals, performing drawing reviews, and conducting on-site quality control for all disciplines of these projects, including structural, enclosure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior finishes.
Alan is a certified Engineer Intern and has his LEED AP BD+C Certification. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and an M.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado's Construction Engineering Management program.
In his free time, Alan enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing. He even trained his Irish Setter Leddi to be his first upland bird dog and hunting buddy.
