Matt Napolitan Receives ASHRAE Certification for Commissioning Process Management Professional

Matt Napolitan, of Cx Associates, has earned a Commissioning Process Management Professional certification (CPMP) from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, (ASHRAE).

To complete the program's examination an individual must have previously been involved with at least three projects utilizing the commissioning process and meet one of three combinations of academic and work experience.

Mr. Napolitan, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in energy efficient building design and operations. He has extensive expertise in HVAC system efficiency and DDC controls optimization and has been the lead commissioning engineer for several major projects such as the University of Vermont's LEED Gold Certified Davis Student Center, Champlain College's LEED Platinum-certified Perry Hall and Dealer.com's Burlington headquarters. Mr. Napolitan has been the mechanical design engineer and project manager on nearly $1 billion worth of construction, including the New York Times' headquarters in Manhattan.
