Katie Mason Promoted to Senior Associate

Katie has been an integral part of the Cx Associates team since 2012, growing from Engineering Technician to the accomplished engineer and project leader she is today. With over 13 years of experience in building commissioning, retrocommissioning, energy audits, and measurement and verification, Katie brings deep technical expertise and a genuine commitment to high-performance buildings to everything she does.

Over the course of her career at Cx Associates, Katie has led commissioning on a wide range of complex projects including the L.L. Bean Headquarters expansion, Maine Medical Center's Scarborough Medical Office Building, and many projects with the University of Vermont and UVM Medical Center. She also serves as Owner's Project Manager for facility upgrades at Southern Maine Health Care, demonstrating the breadth of her project management capabilities.

Beyond her project work, Katie is a recognized leader in Vermont's sustainability community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Green Building Network and acts as a program engineer for the Burlington 2030 District. She holds certifications as a Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP), Engineer Intern, and LEED AP O+M.
