Cx Associates Announces New Principal Matt Napolitan

Burlington, VT – Matthew Napolitan, P.E., CPMP, LEED (AP BD+C), has been named a principal at Cx Associates, a leading energy engineering firm and pioneer in the field of building commissioning. Napolitan has been a senior engineer at Cx Associates for seven years, and during that time has led several successful projects for the firm including the current Hotel Vermont building (anticipated LEED Silver), Champlain College's LEED Platinum certified Perry Hall, Dealer.com's LEED Silver certified Burlington headquarters, Hypertherm's manufacturing facility in Hanover, NH (anticipated LEED Silver), and the University of Vermont's LEED Gold certified Davis Center.

Napolitan is a registered Professional Engineer, a Commissioning Process Management Professional and a LEED Accredited Professional. His over 15 years of engineering and commissioning experience on nearly $1 billion worth of construction includes design, project management, and commissioning of both small and large renovations and new construction, as well as the retrocomissioning of commercial and industrial facilities resulting in proven energy savings and simplified maintenance. He has extensive expertise in Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) system efficiency and Direct Digital Control (DDC) optimization, as well as experience delivering meaningful, permanent measurement and verification systems.
