Cx Associates Announces Promotion of Walker Calderwood

Walker CalderwoodBurlington—Cx Associates, a leading energy engineering firm and pioneer in the field of building commissioning, is pleased to announce that engineering technician Walker Calderwood has been promoted to engineer effective March 29, 2015.

"We're extremely pleased to have Walker rise to a new level as engineer," says managing principal Jennifer Chiodo. "Since joining Cx Associates last year, Walker has excelled in his work, and has proven himself to be an adept problem solver with a strong work ethic." 

Walker has provided building commissioning for Champlain College's new Center for Creative Media project, Middlebury College's Bread Loaf Inn, as well retrocommissioning services for several large projects at Rutland Regional Medical Center. He has also worked as a review engineer for the multi-year New Construction evaluation for NYSERDA and the Vermont Forward Capacity Market evaluation. 

Before joining Cx Associates, Walker specified equipment and assisted with mechanical design as a sales engineer for Meier Supply Company representing Mitsubishi Electric. His experience also includes working on early phase development of a prototype design for a new multi-function, behind-the-counter photo kiosk for the Eastman Kodak Company.
